Apple announced the iPhone 16e about two weeks ago, and the device was largely well-received by both experts and tech bloggers. However, several users have already encountered annoying issues with the phone’s Bluetooth connectivity.
Several posts on Apple’s official forums and Reddit describe a persistent issue where audio streaming to portable speakers via Bluetooth suddenly stops. The error seems to occur most often when the phone is connected to multiple devices at the same time. It’s currently unclear how widespread the issue is, but it’s reported that updating to iOS 18.3.2 does not fix the error.

Apple is currently working on iOS 18.4, and it’s possible that this update will include a fix. However, the company has not commented on the growing complaints from iPhone 16e users, which has led to frustration among many experiencing the issue.
For now, it remains to be seen whether Apple will come up with a quick fix – or whether the Bluetooth bug will continue to plague users in the coming weeks.
